Family Globe is a travel-planning app for families. It builds a day-by-day itinerary around the ages, pace and requirements of the people actually going β and it keeps helping once you have landed.
We ask for as little as the planning actually needs β a nickname will do, and we never ask for a passport number.
Three things a general-purpose chatbot does not do.
You tell it who is coming β ages, pace, what they will and won't eat, what they need to get around comfortably. Every day it plans is shaped by that, not by a generic "family-friendly" list.
Your booked flights and accommodation in one place, each flight one tap from its live tracking page, your travel documents stored for the trip, and a translator for everyday moments β ordering, directions, asking a shopkeeper a question. It is machine translation, so it can be wrong: for anything that matters medically, show the screen, speak to staff directly, and confirm it with them.
At the end of a trip you simply talk about how it went. What it learns is shown back to you in plain words, and it shapes the next trip it plans. The longer you use it, the better the fit.
One annual subscription. No per-trip fees, no upsell tiers.
The personalisation is the product, so the data question matters. Here is the honest version.
The app asks for a nickname or even a birth order number. It never asks for a passport number, and there is nowhere to store one. Travel documents, if you upload them, are yours to delete.
Dietary and accessibility needs are collected as tick-boxes phrased as requirements β "strictly no nuts", "step-free access" β and the app asks you, on screen, for the travel need rather than a condition. Each has a short optional "anything else" box: you decide what goes in it, and anything you do put there about health is handled under our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
When you use "what's near me", your position is rounded before it is stored or sent β accurate enough for walking directions, not accurate enough to say which building you are in.
The full detail is in our Privacy Policy. Dietary and accessibility information is treated with particular care and is covered separately in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Two ways, and we would rather you heard both from us.
Your subscription is the main one. That is what pays for the AI behind the app.
Affiliate links are the other. When the app suggests somewhere to stay or something to do, there may be a link to book it, and if you book through that link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. What gets recommended is never influenced by whether a commission exists β the suggestions come from the planning engine and live search, and the booking link is added afterwards to whatever it already recommended. Links that may earn us a commission are labelled where they appear.
Family Globe uses AI, and AI gets things wrong. It is a planning aid β not a source of truth, and not a complete reference. Everything it shows you, including the entry, health, packing and advisory cards, is AI-generated from what a search returned at one moment, and needs confirming with the people who actually set the rules. Opening times change, venues close, prices move, and entry requirements are the traveller's responsibility to confirm with the relevant government. Nothing in the app is medical, legal, financial or immigration advice. Allergy, accessibility and safety information must always be confirmed directly with the restaurant, venue or airline before you rely on it. The app is a planning aid, not a substitute for checking.
